CO2 vs. Change in Willamette River Basin Snow Water Equivalent (SWE)
SWE is measure of water contained in the snowpack (measured in inches). These graphics below show the ensemble mean SWE measurement on April 1 in the Willamette River Basin for the IPCC a1b emissions scenario, simulated by PRMS, a hydrologic model. The figures represent the historical average (1971-2000) and SWE averaged by decade through 2099.
